Ticket Types and Starting Prices (Official Store, Tax Included)
- 1-Day Studio Pass: adults (12+) from 8,400 yen, children (4-11) from 5,500 yen, seniors (65+) from 7,600 yen. Children aged 3 and under enter free.
- Twilight Pass: entry from 3 p.m., adults from 5,900 yen.
- 1.5-Day Pass (from 3 p.m. on day one plus all of day two) starts at 13,600 yen for adults, and the 2-Day Pass starts at 16,000 yen.
- These are the lowest prices of the season. The actual price depends on your date, so compare the date calendar on the official store or a booking site before paying.
The New Pricing Rule from September 2026: Earlier Is Better
- For visits from September 1, 2026, USJ can readjust the price of each date according to demand even after tickets go on sale.
- In practice, tickets for the same date may cost more later if they sell well. Once your travel dates are confirmed, it is better to buy right away.
- Prices change between dates even within the same month. If your schedule is flexible, pick a day with a lower price on the calendar.
Express Pass and Super Nintendo World Entry
- An Express Pass shortens waiting times for set rides, but it does not let you into the park. You still need a separate admission ticket.
- Official starting prices: Express Pass 4 from 6,800 yen, Express Pass 5 from 12,200 yen, Express Pass 7 from 14,100 yen. Prices change with availability.
- Depending on the day, Super Nintendo World may require an Area Timed Entry Ticket: Advance Booking, or a Timed Entry or Standby Entry Ticket. Since January 5, 2026, the timed and standby tickets are issued only through the official app inside the park on the day.
- If Nintendo World is the main reason for your trip, an Express Pass that includes advance area entry is the most certain option.

Ways to Pay a Little Less
- For a year-end family trip, check the official Holiday Kids Free Pass. It covers visits from November 13 to December 30, 2026, and one child (4-11) enters free with each adult.
- If you only plan to visit in the afternoon, the Twilight Pass is cheaper than a 1-day ticket, and for two days the 1.5-Day or 2-Day Pass is priced to cost less than two 1-day tickets.
- When booking through a site such as Klook, check for discount codes first. Our coupon page lists current codes, such as 5% off USJ combos and 5% off the Kansai premium pass that includes USJ (see the coupon page for dates and conditions).
- Discount tickets that require proof of Kansai residence, such as the Kansai NO LIMIT! Pass, cannot be used by travelers, so leave them out when comparing prices.
Checklist Before You Go
- Install the official app in advance. After entering the park, register everyone's ticket QR codes together so the whole group gets the same entry time.
- Tickets from the official store generally cannot be cancelled after purchase, so buy only once your date is fixed.
- For where to stay and how to get from the airport, see our Osaka city page and airport transfer page together.
